I have to get this out someplace, not that it will stop the brooding...

Right, I really feel that certain people in the human race should be culled from it. I mean it.

You know, I was asked by someone to spend hours and hours on a creation. Its not something I was getting paid for and I wasn't doing it for any payment or any other trade. I was doing it because I thought that in this creation I could bring alot of happiness and fun to others around me and the person who had asked me to create this item in the first place, and this made me happy. I did it to be nice and there were no other attachments to it than that, and this was why I took joy in the process of this creation.

Random act of kindness, of being nice, of the possiblity of seeing others light up joyfully and spawn off their own creations from it in the process.

Well I spent my time to create it, finished it, and immediately the entire thing recieved nothing but negativity from those who should have found it useful. Instead, they hammered at it and tore it apart.

Ultimately, the people who I had expected to use this creation to excite their own creative processes, took it, demented it, and used it in such a very very narrow minded way to do the very thing I wanted to avoid with it. In honesty, I expected them to eventually get to that point in their own creations with it, but I expected them to jump, skip, and saunter their way their enjoying the process with their own creations branched from it.

Rather than that, these narrow minded critical people abused the creation, showing me the artist of it such a lack of respect as a person, and jumped straight to the end of the climax with it. Wham, Bam, Thank you ma'am.

I may not even as well have bothered at all. It was insulting, and if there was a stronger word than that, use it because it would fit. It was an utter act of such selfishness and lack of respect that there is not a word to describe it in English.

I wish it was these sorts of ingrates we could see die. Its always the good people that die, leaving us with assholes like these who are left in the world to breed and pass their twisted dysfunctional morality upon onto the next generation. People who fail to enjoy the process of the creative endeavour itself, fail to see with any respect the amount of oneself that the creator has had to put into such a simple little thing, and like the ignorant with a good book, doesn't bother to read it all the way through enjoying the story, but rather gets the new book they crave so badly and flips directly to the last chapter to read the end.

How abused can an artist truly get, whether they be writer, painter, sculptor, or other creator of form or substance?
The person who asked me initially to create this item however can have my blessings because it wasn't their fault. I know they didn't expect the creation to get this sort of disrespectful reaction for what it was nor to the degree it did.

The term 'emotionally raped' applies here.
I hope these people someday feel the same thing, but because they are such a high calibur of pricks and assholes, random acts of such kindness and creativity will never occur to them, nor do they care one ioda, nor spare a moment's thought for the happiness and enjoyment of others around them. They are self centered, but yet, they are the ones that breed and pass on the morality to the next generation.

If we need to start thinning the human race, we should start with folks like these.
